I am Victoria Kasaczun, but I go by the name of Tori.  I have done art all of my life, even before I can remember anything.  I have earned a degree of Bachelor of Arts in Art Therapy in May 2017.  Yet I want to showcase my portfolio for my art side.  I am from the Lehigh Valley County Area in Pennsylvania.

What influences my artwork are the things I hold dear to me: my family, my friends, and my views on the universe.  I am motivated, I am moved, and I am influenced by those who are important to me in my life.  They impact my life on a daily basis; helping me shape me into who I am today.  What I like best about being an artist is having the chance to speak my voice.  I had a difficult time during my younger years of speaking my mind and my thoughts.  Art gave me the opportunity to speak to the world and have others actually listen.  It gave me a freedom that does not always come easily to me.  Art is my voice.  My artwork defines who I am as a person.  My artwork makes an impact in my life, challenging me and the viewers to understand what it is I am saying.  My artworks vary from brooding to joyous and everywhere in between.  You can say that it is a personal journey, and a personal experience.

The most challenging thing about being an artist is getting my vision, message, and views to come across to the viewers.  Everyone has a different stance, belief, or view that they allow to influence their thoughts and behaviors.  But trying to get the viewers to see my world in my eyes can be quite challenging.  Yet it is a challenge I am willing to accept.
